The bank then processes the dispute with the merchant involved.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"474\" data-end=\"708\">The customer can submit a formal complaint to their financial institution, which handles disputing the payment <a href=\"https:\/\/paynopain.com\/en\/glossary\/transaction\/\">transaction<\/a>.
