Contactless payments<\/b>, also known as tap-and-go payments, allow transactions by simply bringing a card, mobile phone, or smart device (like a smartwatch) close to a compatible terminal, without inserting the card or entering a PIN.<\/span><\/p>\n

This technology uses <\/span>NFC <\/b>(Near Field Communication), a short-range wireless communication system (less than 10 centimeters) that securely transmits information between the customer\u2019s device and the payment terminal.<\/span><\/p>\n
