PaynoPain drives the digitalization of hotel payments in Oracle

Share

PaynoPain has reached a strategic agreement with Oracle Hospitality to integrate its payment gateway into OPERA 5. Thanks to this collaboration, hotels will be able to offer their guests a faster, more flexible, and secure payment experience, managing everything from a single platform.

What is OPERA 5?

OPERA 5 is a hotel management system developed by Oracle Hospitality, the specialized division of Oracle Corporation (hotels, restaurants, casinos, resorts), responsible for developing and marketing products and other systems for managing operations and customer services in this sector.

OPERA 5 is designed to help hotels efficiently manage their daily operations, including reservations, front desk, room management, billing, and data analytics.

Benefits for the hotel sector

The integration of PaynoPain with OPERA 5 provides a comprehensive, omnichannel payment solution tailored to the needs of the hotel sector. Through the OPERA 5 management system, hotels can handle all payments processed with any of the solutions offered by PaynoPain.

This integration brings advantages to hotels in every aspect, from automating collections, which reduces administrative burden and improves operational efficiency, to offering greater flexibility in payment methods, adapting to guest preferences and facilitating transactions.

We are in a context where 7 out of 10 Spaniards choose a card to pay for flights and vacations, according to PaynoPain’s 2025 survey “Payment Methods: The Ultimate Decision.”

Therefore, having fast, secure, digital payment solutions is essential to offer travelers a modern and satisfying experience.

What does this integration involve?

The integration of PaynoPain into the on-premise version of OPERA 5 is already certified. This provides hotels with new capabilities to manage payments efficiently. The main use cases include:

Payments and preauthorizations

Hotels can charge or block amounts for both online reservations and front desk transactions, offering flexibility and security at all times.

Card tokenization

Secure storage of guest payment data for future charges, without needing to re-enter the card. This streamlines processes such as extending a stay or paying for additional services during the visit.

Advanced transaction management

The system allows the hotel to refund payments, release preauthorizations, or correct erroneous charges instantly, improving internal efficiency and customer satisfaction.

With this integration, PaynoPain positions itself as one of the few Spanish fintechs certified within the Oracle Hospitality ecosystem. This platform is used by thousands of hotels worldwide.

At PaynoPain, we believe the guest experience begins at the moment of payment. More and more travelers seek speed, security, and flexibility when booking and paying for their vacations. Our integration with OPERA 5 allows hotels to offer exactly that: frictionless, reliable payments tailored to the needs of the modern traveler,” explains Jordi Nebot, CEO and founder of PaynoPain.
