Once again, we are participating in the new edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR), taking place from 22 to 26 January at IFEMA Madrid. You can find us in hall 8, stand 8D22, where we will be showcasing our payment solutions for the tourism sector.

With the aim of driving the digital transformation of the tourism industry and consolidating our growth in 2025, we are presenting our payment technology solutions designed to enhance hotel efficiency and provide a faster, more satisfying payment experience. These solutions enable guests to choose their preferred payment method, simplifying and speeding up the process. As a result, hotel staff can focus more on delivering quality service, improving the overall customer experience.

Payment solutions for the tourism industry

To meet the growing demand in tourism and ensure travellers enjoy a seamless experience, it’s essential for businesses in the sector to adopt the most advanced technologies. This allows them to save time, enhance user experience, and attract more customers. At PaynoPain, we have introduced a range of features designed to benefit both customers and businesses in the industry:

● Automated payment processing for hotel bookings

Through our online payment gateway, hotels can automate the entire payment process for bookings. This system streamlines payment management for channels such as Booking, Expedia, OTAs, direct bookings, or telephone sales, while adapting to the hotel’s various pricing policies, such as free cancellations, semi-flexible rates, or prepayments. Therefore, human errors are reduced and confirmation times are sped up, making the experience smoother and faster for both customers and businesses.

● Payment methods for international tourists

In 2024, Spain set a record by welcoming 94 million foreign visitors, a 10% increase compared to the previous year. To meet the preferences of international tourists visiting the country, hotels must integrate local payment methods. From Bizum for Spanish tourists to Sofort for Germans and MB Way for Portuguese visitors, we ensure businesses can cater to the payment needs of their international clients. According to the survey ‘payment methods: the definitive decision,’ 26% of users report difficulty finding places that accept their preferred payment methods. Offering variety is not just important—it is essential to improve the customer experience.

● Tap to Pay: turn your mobile into a POS terminal

With Tap to Pay, hotel staff can speed up payments in restaurants and cafes using just a mobile app. This solution eliminates the need for traditional POS terminals, allowing customers to pay securely and quickly with their mobile devices, wallets, or contactless cards. According to our survey, 27.6% of users demand more contactless payment options, highlighting the importance of modernising the sector and enhancing the guest experience.

● Omnichannel payment gateway: new control panel

With the new control panel launched a few months ago, businesses have access to a single payment platform to manage both physical and online payments, centralising all transaction information. This updated version features a simplified and intuitive design, making it easier for hotels to manage payments while focusing on other tasks. Additionally, we have added new tools, such as real-time transaction reports, payment links, mass payment campaigns, and checkout customisation, enabling hoteliers to run their businesses more efficiently.
