PaynoPain, a Spanish fintech company specialising in payment solutions, has reached an agreement with CaixaGuissona, a financial institution founded in 1963, for the integration and management of various technologies that drive the digitalisation of payments for SMEs. These solutions, both in physical and online environments, include the management of physical card terminals, Tap to Pay technology, the online payment gateway, and the Pay by Link system, all of which are incorporated into the services offered by the institution.
To enhance the payment experience for its customers and address the growing need to digitalise payment processes in businesses, CaixaGuissona will implement four key payment solutions from PaynoPain, especially for entrepreneurs and small businesses:
PaynoPain’s physical POS enable merchants to accept card payments quickly and securely at the physical point of sale, simplifying the daily payment process.
Tap to Pay facilitates contactless payments via mobile phones, providing a fast and convenient shopping experience. It is ideal for small businesses such as restaurants and shops, as well as for mobile professionals like taxi drivers, couriers, or plumbers. It provides SMEs with a secure and efficient way to accept card payments.
With Paylands, PaynoPain’s virtual POS and payment gateway, businesses can optimise transaction management and offer their customers an intuitive, fast, and secure payment experience. This virtual POS allows businesses to accept card payments, wallets, and other payment methods such as Bizum or PayPal.
The Pay by link solution simplifies payments without the need for complex installations. It allows businesses to generate a personalised payment link to share via any channel (email, social media, SMS), which the customer can use to complete the payment securely in just a few clicks. It is ideal for small businesses and startups.
Founded in 1963, CaixaGuissona is a leading financial institution that is part of the bonÀrea Agrupa business group and has a strong presence in its offices in Guissona, Barcelona, Lleida, and Reus.
CaixaGuissona stands out for its unique vision in the financial sector. The institution is ranked as the third best by the Consumers and Users Organisation (OCU) based on a survey of over 23,000 banking customers. In the 2023 financial year, the institution gained nearly 11,000 new customers, reaching a total of 85,000. Of these, 55% are in Lleida, 25% in Barcelona, and the remainder are distributed across regions such as Girona, Huesca, and Zaragoza.
“CaixaGuissona shares our commitment to innovation and support for entrepreneurs and SMEs. This agreement allows us to bring our advanced payment solutions to more users, helping to simplify their daily operations with technological tools that enhance customer experience and optimise financial processes. It is another step forward in our mission to modernise the payment ecosystem in Spain,” says Jordi Nebot, CEO and co-founder of PaynoPain.
